As of today, 1st of February, Pardot have released an update that will give Pardot users the option to enable SSL on your tracker domains.

What is SSL?

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser (represented as HTTPS:// in your browser’s address bar).

This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral. This is important when Prospects are submitting your Pardot forms from a Pardot landing page.

How do you enable SSL in Pardot?

You will be able to enable SSL on a chosen Tracker Domain from your Domain Management under Admin.

Simply click the cog on the right and click enable HTTPS. Once enabled your chosen tracker domain will have an SSL status that will show as ‘enabled’. Any pages or forms you now create from this tracker domain will now be more secure.
