Using Profiles for Lead Grading
You will need to use Profiles to grade your prospects based on your perfect customer. Set the criteria of the profile, such as job title, industry, and other fields you value higher for segmentation. Using Profiles to grade prospects has two stages: assigning the profile and then matching the criteria.
Assigning and Matching the Profile
Assign your profile when a prospect’s form field value matches your target customer by using an automation rule.
In this scenario; if I was a prospect with a job title of ‘Manager’ I would be assigned the CleverTouch Test Profile and my grade would have increased by 1 letter.
When a prospect is assigned a profile, the default starting grade is ‘D’. My prospect would have increased by 1 letter to a ‘C’.
