The best way to get the most out of repeatable automation rules is to use them in conjunction with a dynamic list. More complex rules and processes can be solved using tags. Let me explain:

  • Use a dynamic list to pull in all the prospects who match your required criteria.
  • Use an automation rule to complete the action for anyone who is in the dynamic list.

Example: if you have a ‘Request a call back’ custom field on a form, you can have a dynamic list to look for ‘Request a call back’ custom form field is ‘True’.

The automation rule will notify a user when a prospect is in the list and sets the form field ‘Request a call back’ to false. This will remove them from the list and they won’t go through the rule again until they complete a form and request another call back.
