Webinar Details
Join our Director of Research & Enablement, Chris Fowler, and Marketing Director, Richard Shafe, as they unpick the data from this year's State of Martech research, sharing the key themes uncovered and headlines you should know about.
This year's report reveals how marketing leaders are navigating today's toughest challenges, from proving ROI in a competitive market to tackling migration trends, complex integrations and the growing influence of AI. It also explores whether hyper-personalisation is finally within reach, and how evolving operating models are reshaping the role of marketing technology.
This year, the report has been structured into categories that organise insights from the research into key themes:
- The criticality of data and integration
- Migration mania
- Proving impact and unlocking investment
- All hype for hyper-personalisation
- Operating models: Internal disparities and the rise of external partners.
The State of Martech remains the only dedicated study of the martech industry carried out in partnership between a commercial practitioner (Clevertouch Consulting) and an academic research body in The University of Stirling. This collaboration ensures both the design and insights of the report are robust, credible, and uniquely valuable to marketing leaders.
This year’s survey garnered the opinions of 616 senior marketers from across the UK (44%), US (41%) and EMEA (15%). Shockingly, only 40% of martech systems are used by nearly half the marketers we surveyed, with the vast majority using less than 60% – and even fewer platforms are integrated. It’s a costly and unsustainable landscape.
