Job purpose:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to support our finance team in managing day-to-day financial operations. This role will involve processing transactions and ensuring accuracy in financial records. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Help with VAT returns and other tax-related filings.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
  • Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist in monitoring accounts receivable and payable.
  • Support the finance team in audits and compliance-related activities.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

The ideal individual will have:

  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • The ability to demonstrate flexibility when required
