- The program is a 12-month scheme covering key aspects in the role of the modern digital marketer

---

Clevertouch Consulting has launched its new Clevertouch Graduate Program as it searches for new talent to lead the way. The program has been introduced following the increased demand for Clevertouch’s marketing technology consultancy, technical and data scientist services from both new and established clients. This sustained business growth provides great career opportunities for graduates. The program is a 12-month scheme covering key aspects in the role of the modern digital marketer, supported both through mentorship and study towards formal marketing technology certifications.

Taking place in the first week of June, the graduate day set out to establish a 360° view of the individual candidate through assessments on numerical reasoning, logical thinking, and personality tests. For recent graduates, there is a limited amount of relevant working career experience to review and as Clevertouch wanted to focus on the person, not the CV, the assessment days were designed to reflect that.

Hermione Nichols, Talent & Resourcing Manager, who led on the creation of the Clevertouch Graduate Program commented:

“After weeks of planning, I absolutely loved the days themselves. Being here to meet and greet the candidates, then see our leadership team and staff represent our business so well, was fantastic. Honestly, the thrill of my job is meeting these bright graduates and helping them become the best they can be.

The formal assessment consisted of a prepared presentation based upon a task provided to the candidates in advance, followed by a Q&A on their presentation with a Clevertouch leadership panel. The task focused on customer experience and how the candidates would transform the marketing of a traditional, offline business into a digital one.

After lunch, the candidates sat a version of the Myers Briggs test, which provided a lens into a candidate’s personality, thought processes, and identified traits such as intuition. Clevertouch Consulting co-founder and CEO Adam Sharp spoke with the group to outline the company values, the roles on offer and career paths the graduate program connects to. All candidates were invited to have informal chats with current employees where they could ask their own questions about life at Clevertouch.

Feedback from the inaugural cohort was very positive, with several candidates remarking on the experience as being informal yet leaving them informed. Adam gave his own feedback on the program:

“The outcome of this brilliant initiative is that Clevertouch has offered places to two graduates who blew the interview panel away with their sharp thinking. They have accepted and will start in September. We have decided to conduct it again, with six graduate positions still available. We will run more graduate days in September 2021 to offer a chance for individuals who have not considered, or were not ready to apply to, a graduate program this time round. Clevertouch sees many business opportunities in front of us, and we need the talent to help us grab them.”

This September edition of the graduate program coincides with the conclusion of many Masters degrees, and Clevertouch welcomes any candidates currently studying a Masters in a Marketing, Technology or any relevant discipline to apply to the program.
