Using your Pardot emails for GDPR opt-in

With GDPR fast approaching, you need to use this time to gain as many opt-ins as possible. Using Pardot’s dynamic content you can add an opt-in banner to every email you send from now until 25th May 2018.

Once you have the opt-in message and/or html code for the banner, you can start to build your dynamic content.

Add your message in the default content section. Ensure the variations are based on the value of the ‘GDPR Opt-in’ field. This only has one variation – a look up to see if this field has the value of ‘true’.

This opt-in banner will now appear for anyone who has not yet confirmed there opt-in.
