Different Views of Marketo Smart Lists

When Smart Lists are in frequent use for both campaign reporting and general data analysis, having the correct view is important, especially for efficiency. The view determines what fields are shown under the ‘People’ tab of the Smart List.

Views are configured and specific to the user account, therefore if you create a new view it will not be accessible to other users within Marketo. Therefore, should you need to share a list and record detail with colleagues or senior management, be aware that each user would have to re-create the same view within their own login.

To create a view, visit a Smart List and click ‘View: Default’.

Then, to create a new view click ‘Create View’.

After selecting the required fields, click ‘Save’. Once a new view is created, it can then be applied to any Smart List. They are not specific to a single Smart List.
