Account Manager

Overview

The primary focus of the role of Account Manager is to take full responsibility for a growing list of clients spanning a range of business sectors, acting as the key point of liaison between the client and CleverTouch. Their goal is to achieve best practice marketing outcomes, maximum client satisfaction, and revenue growth within their assigned account base.

This is the right role for a true marketer, someone who has been in our client’s shoes and now wants to help and guide similar businesses to achieve the best possible marketing campaigns and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support and manage a range of client(s) work
  • To manage your account(s) and those you support on in a well organised and efficient way taking responsibility for aiding revenue growth as well as the day to day management of the account(s)
  • Deliver client campaign plans and ensure the right activity is in place to meet client objectives
  • To advise customers on how to achieve their needs in the most effective manner by utilising their Marketing Automation activity efficiently, advising on campaign planning initiatives and ad hoc projects – ensuring that advice is delivered with confidence
  • To drive business growth through existing clients, developing a proactive action plan for your named accounts (CDP) and supporting others to do so in order to meet client retention and budget targets
  • To build and sustain strong and long-lasting relationships with client-side managers maintaining frequent contact with any other third party agencies used by each client
  • Where possible to identify, upsell and implement new projects, initiatives and campaigns in order to meet and exceed client’s ROI and service expectations and to maximise revenue and profit for CleverTouch
  • Work with the technical delivery teams to aid them in delivering an outstanding service in order to retain and grow all client accounts, taking responsibility for the quality of client work carried out
  • To support your Senior Account Manager and Client Services team in the on-boarding of new clients
  • Play an active role in the delivery of discovery work where appropriate and project manage on-going retainer activity and project work for your account(s) and those you support, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standard on time and to budget

Essential Skills

  • Marketing Degree /IDM/CIM marketing qualification, or similar highly desirable
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Experience of working within an agency or marketing department
  • Good understanding of design and development of marketing campaigns and programmes of work
  • Project management experience
  • Good customer relationship management skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain long lasting customer relationships
  • Commercial acumen
  • Marketing Automation platform experience highly desirable
  • Good working knowledge of social media channels including Facebook and Twitter and their working relationship with MA platforms
  • Proactive and highly organised, with excellent information management skills a proven ability to multi-task
  • Excellent project management, campaign management and planning skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver clear concise ideas to internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Able to recognise when services provided by other business units could benefit the client
  • Understands the role of marketing communications within a broader business context
  • Negotiation skills
